The Reason Why I Am Building a Network of Conscious Entrepreneurs.
I just launched my Conscious Entrepreneurship interview series here on Medium. I am a social-driven entrepreneur, and I source equally minded founders from all over the world to introduce and connect in my interviews.
I see entrepreneurship as a privilege. You take over the steering wheel, and decide to create something in this world that you want others to follow. Becoming conscious in your actions as an entrepreneur is therefore of major importance.
Choose purpose.
I believe this process of consciousness is evolving when you truly found purpose in what you do — whatever it is that you create. You know you found your purpose when it is about more than profit. And that is how it should be.
Each one of us is born for a reason. I believe we are here to be of use or of service to others.
If you look at the answers in the interviews I published, the reasoning of passion, purpose, and touching lives repeats. For those entrepreneurs, running a business is not about the monetary value. It is about amplifying their talents in order to make a difference in this life. I wish for everyone to get there, since it brings fulfillment to live up to your potential, to follow your instincts, to take pride and ownership in what you are doing. Because this is of true value to people.
Aim for goodness.
Now, how do you find your purpose? It is such a big word. To break it down, it is about listening within yourself, harness your talents and put them into use. You are being given a talent for a reason after all. Nurture it, and grow from there. Then it is about taking actions on your instincts. Wherever you are in your life right now, let your dreams and your passion guide you. Be aware that we are on earth for a limited amount of time, and that we are all connected, and we need to be respectful about that. We are meant to compliment each other, to work with each other, to co-exist, to flourish.
Practice awareness of what is going on this world right now. Profit-first corporates are not the ones who are working on improving our lives. It is people who stand up to make a difference. People who practice gratitude for what they have, and work from the resources they are given, no matter how little these may seem at times. People who know that happiness does not come from money, but from the gratification we get from doing what we do. People who are aware that we all touch lives every day with whatever we do.
The more we are conscious about that we all create an impact and make a difference, the more we will choose to take the path of goodness.
