Brittany even got a chance to show off her television hosting skills in fall 2019 when she was selected to be an NBC Access Hollywood guest correspondent for Disney’s Frozen II premiere. As she continues to evolve in her career and expand her platform, all driven by her purpose to uplift, Brittany looks forward to the future and welcomes more golden opportunities.

What was the first beauty routine you adopted as a child or teenager? Which emotions do you connect with this memory?

My first beauty routine was caring for my skin and nails. I wasn’t allowed to wear makeup as a child and teenager but I could buy face masks and nail polish and face and hand lotions.

CONSCIOUS BEAUTY — What meaning do you give this term?

Conscious Beauty- Being present and aware. No matter the beauty space being present in the moment and enjoying the process.

Which aspects of sustainability in beauty are especially important to you?

The support and representation of women of color

When do you consciously feel beautiful?

Funny enough when I don’t try is when I feel consciously beautiful

Did your approach to beauty change within the last 1–2 years?

I’m more particular about brands that I use and people that I am influenced by.

How would you like to see the image of beauty change within the next 5 years?

I would like seeing women of color represented as not surprising anymore because it’s the norm.

What or who inspires your beauty routine?

My daily life inspires my beauty routine. It isn’t the same daily. Some days it’s a full beat, other days it’s skin care only, other days it’s just lashes and press-on nails. My lifestyle inspires my beauty routine.

What is your best beauty advice to others?

Daily less is more but also have fun and be creative when you want to! No matter what, your confidence is what everyone sees first.

THANK YOU!
